RSPB Big Garden Watch Sat 30th Jan 2010

 
Melanistic pheasant
Nothing really unusual this year, but a small flock of  Long-tailed tits flew in and fed for about 5 mins.
Sparrow and Starling  numbers are down on last year. My newcomer to the list is the Melanistic pheasant which took up residence in and around my garden last spring and he's been here ever since.

14 species.
Since the count we've had 4 Blue tits, 2 Coal tits and a Wren.

  1. Great list of birds David,Just short of a few finches!!! I have trouble attracting Tits of any variety, I can see you dont. Well done with the Long tailed.
